All Music Songwriting Competition

The Rules
1. Email entries must include the song(s) in mp3/mp4 format. If you are submitting multiple songs, please attach them all to one email. Be certain that the entrant's contact information as requested on the upload entry page is included in the email. Please include a track listing of the songs in the correct order.
2. The entry fee is $20 (USD) per entry. If you enter two songs, the fee is $40. If you enter three songs, the fee is $60, and so forth.
3. Payment via Paypal must be verified before song(s) will be entered into consideration.
4. Entrant retains all ownership rights to all original song(s). AMSC will not have any ownership rights to any song(s) submitted.
5. Entrant agrees to release, indemnify, and hold AMSC, its sponsors, and judges harmless for liability, damages, or claims for injury or loss to any person or property relating to, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, participation in AMSC.
6. By entering AMSC, Entrant and/or their parents or legal guardian (if such entrant is a minor) agree to accept and be bound by the decisions of AMSC and its judges which are final and binding in all matters. By entering AMSC, Entrant agrees to be bound by all terms of these official AMSC Rules and Regulations as established herein.
7. This Contest is governed by the internal laws of the State of Louisiana without regard to principals of conflict of laws. All cases and claims pertaining to this competition must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in the City of Sulphur, LA, without recourse to class action suits.
8. If any provision of these Rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction or appointed arbitrator, such determination shall in no way affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision herein.
9. AMSC is open to all artists. AMSC is open to anyone regardless of nationality or origin. Employees of AMSC, its families, subsidiaries and affiliates are not eligible.
10. If entrant is under 18 years old, the signature of a parent or guardian is required, and the parent or guardian name/s must be listed on the entry email to state the entrant is under 18 years of age.
11. AMSC does not give feedback or a critique to entrants.
12. AMSC reserves the right to extend the entry deadline.
13. AMSC reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time for any reason. Should that event occur, AMSC will reimburse each entrant all submission fees.
14. Entries are screened by an AMSC listening committee who select a group of finalists. These finalists are sent to the judges who select the winners. The judges consists of high profile music industry professionals including artists, producers, mixing masters, and educators.
15. The 2015 winners will be announced in March 2015. AMSC will post all results on its website and will notify entrants by email that results are posted. Entrant is responsible for providing up-to-date and correct email addresses to AMSC. AMSC is not responsible for entrant's non-receipt of any AMSC emails for any reason, including but not limited to, server or email malfunctions. AMSC will use its best efforts to announce the winners at the designated time but will not be held liable for any unforeseen delays. Winners will be notified by email or phone. Entry constitutes permission to use winner's name, likeness, and voice for future advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation.
16. All prizes will be awarded to the first entrant as it appears on the entry form, and division of prizes among artists is the responsibility of winners.
17. There will be no transfer and substitution of prizes. All winners agree to release AMSC and sponsors from all liability regarding prizes won. All federal, state, and local taxes, and customs fees, when applicable, are the sole responsibility of winner. AMSC will not pay any winners' taxes or custom's fees. Prizes will be sent out within a reasonable amount of time, and AMSC will use its best efforts to send prizes out in a timely fashion. Prizes which are being sent to winners from Sponsors may take longer than prizes sent directly from AMSC. If after 180 days of winners being announced, any winner has not received any portion of prizes, it is winner's responsibility to notify AMSC in writing within 30 days, and by certified mail, as to which prizes are outstanding. If winner fails to notify AMSC, AMSC will no longer be responsible for delivery of prizes.
18. Disclose requested information and attach your mp3 or mp4 file to the email. You will need to include: Band/Artist Name, Full Mailing Address, Email Address, Full Phone Number, Title of Song(s)/Submssion(s), Confirmation Number from Paypal. Failure to include all the information requested may result in your submission being rejected by our judging panel.
